Description of Golden Saddle
This beautiful log home on the West side has it all! Enjoy the large stone fireplace in the living room, a private dock for your boat, and a wrap around deck with breathtaking views of Wallowa Lake, the Eagle Cap Wilderness, as well as the awe of the Moraine. Extra amenities include large storage area for bikes, water skis, etc. Hardwood floors on lower level, and richly furnished. King bed in master bedroom, queen in 2nd bedroom, queen and a twin bunkbed in 3rd bedroom as well as a twin roll a away. Be sure to bring your slippers to this home. The majority of the living space is either hardwood or vinyl.
Please note that we try and have the boat dock in by the 15th of May, and left in the water until the first week of September. However, due to the water levels, we might have to pull them sooner. This is unfortunate, but if the docks are not in place, it is seen as an act of nature, and no refunds will be given.

01/31/2011 - Hi Cindi, We had a wonderful time at the Golden Saddle over New Year's; it's a very beautiful home. The directions you gave to get there were perfect and the only (minor) difficulty we had was turning around our extended cab pick-up in the parking area, and that was only because of the snow. It all went so well we are seriously thinking about making this an annual venture and will be contacting you again for next year. Thank you again! Kim
10/30/2007 - We found our way to the Golden Saddle with good directions from Cindi....she wasn't kidding when she said that it is almost at the end of the road, and when you think you have gone too far, keep going! But, when we walked into the Golden Saddle, we were shocked! This house is so unbelievably gorgeous! The furnishings, the atmosphere, everything was more than we could ever imagine, and couldn't believe that we were going to spend a week of our life here. It is the best vacation that we have ever taken, and we highly recommend this house. We have stayed in a lot of Cindi's homes, but this by far is the pick of the litter, so to speak! Thanks again for being there for us, for helping us pick the best house, for having it be so clean, and for making sure that everything is where we need it! You are fantastic! See you soon--Kim
