Description of Chinook River
This cabin is cute, comfortable, and close enough to walk to the activities at the South end of the Lake.
If you don't want to partake in the activities, snuggle in with a good book in front of the wood burning fireplace, or perhaps put on a game tournament on the dining room table that overlooks the Wallowa River, or take a quick walk to the trailhead for a nature hike.
Queen beds in the two bedrooms, two twins in the bunkroom off of the garage. Bathroom offers a shower/tub combo.
This home does not offer cable, but feel free to bring your own movies to watch on the TV/VCR/DVD that we provide!

03/30/2009 - Hi Cindi! What a wonderful place. We will highly recomend you and definitely use you again. The Chinook house is awesome. I am writing this now on the back porch, drinking coffee, listening and looking at the river. Deer are close by sharing the wonderful ambience. Isn't life wonderful when we stop and relax! Julie

05/08/2008 - Dear Cindi, We recently spent our vacation in #19 and I have to say that I was very impressed. We had picked this via the internet and did not really know what we were getting into until we walked in the door. I was pleasantly suprised when everything sparkled and there was not a single cobweb! Beautiful quilts adorned the beds, towels ready for us and the bathroom as well as the kitchen were places that even my sister (the pickiest of pickies) would have been glad to be in. The whole place was decorated suitably for the location and felt warm and welcoming. It was our pleasure to stay there and I can't tell you how many times we just sat at the bank of the river in awe of the mountains and scenery. Thanks for taking such great care and being concerned with every last detail so that we could relax and enjoy every single bit of your beautiful cabin. Would love to return for a vacation with family the next time. Thanks for sharing your place with us.....like a home away from home.......we had a wonderful time. Cindy and Kal
02/23/2008 - Dear Cindi. We so loved our stay at Cabin #19! I have never enjoyed making dinner and doing dishes as much as I did there--with the great view of the river rushing by, it didn't seem fair to call it a chore to be in the kitchen. We had a couple of great hikes on the trails and a spectacular day visiting the Zumwalt Prairie. We hope to come back soon! Thank you for your help in getting us into such a wonderful place for our family to stay. Marie
